Description
Ahimsa - (n) nonviolence towards living beings
In honor of Colorado's Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary, I've created the perfect bracelet & necklace to express their philosophy. I chose Dalmatian Stone with its black & white spots that remind me of Lucky Star, the cow star of the 2024 Luvin Arms Gala. The black & white Dalmatian Stone and black Onyx spell out Ahimsa in Morse code.

Luvin Arms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal sanctuary for abused or neglected farmed animals in Erie, Colorado. Their rescued residents include cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, horses, goats, sheep and ducks. These beautiful residents were rescued from horrific situations including abuse and neglect cases, factory farms, religious rituals, slaughterhouse-bound trucks, bankrupt farms, and more. They were left with nowhere to turn and would have been slaughtered if they hadn’t been saved.
About The Stones
About Dalmatian Stone
With its black spots, no wonder this stone is named after the Dalmatian dog breed! Also known as Dalmatian Jasper, this stone is not a Jasper - it's a peralkaline igneous rock. Regardless of its name, its black & white pattern is nicely complemented by black Onyx.
About Onyx
Onyx is a striped semiprecious variety of Agate, with white, black, brown or red alternating bands. Onyx is believed to sharpen the wits of the wearer.
