Description
Ahimsa - (n) nonviolence towards living beings
In honor of Colorado's Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary, I've created the perfect bracelet and necklace to express their philosophy. I chose Dalmatian Stone with its black & white spots that remind me of Lucky Star, the cow star of the 2024 Luvin Arms Gala. The black & white Dalmatian Stone and black Onyx spell out Ahimsa in Morse code.
This bracelet is adjustable so you can wear it at your chosen size plus or minus a 1/2".

Luvin Arms is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal sanctuary for abused or neglected farmed animals in Erie, Colorado. Their rescued residents include cows, pigs, turkeys, chickens, horses, goats, sheep and ducks. These beautiful residents were rescued from horrific situations including abuse and neglect cases, factory farms, religious rituals, slaughterhouse-bound trucks, bankrupt farms, and more. They were left with nowhere to turn and would have been slaughtered if they hadn’t been saved.
Sizing your bracelet: See the Size Guide above or the sizing information below for more details. This bracelet is adjustable, so you can wear it at your chosen size plus or minus a 1/2".
About The Stones
About Dalmatian Stone
With its black spots, no wonder this stone is named after the Dalmatian dog breed! Also known as Dalmatian Jasper, this stone is not a Jasper - it's a peralkaline igneous rock. Regardless of its name, its black & white pattern is nicely complemented by black Onyx.
About Onyx
Onyx is a striped semiprecious variety of Agate, with white, black, brown or red alternating bands. Onyx is believed to sharpen the wits of the wearer.
Sizing
How To Size Your Bracelet
This bracelet is adjustable so you can wear it at your chosen size and plus or minus a 1/2".
Using a piece of string (or fabric measuring tape), measure your wrist just above the wrist bone (towards your elbow, not your hand). This is the circumference of your wrist. Depending on the type of fit you would like, add the following to your measured wrist circumference to get a final bracelet size:
Snug fit (won't move much): add 1/4" to 1/2"
"Comfort" fit (will move, but stay above your hand): add 3/4" to 1"
Loose fit (may drape down on your hand a bit): add 1-1/4"
Pick the bracelet size closest to this final calculation. For example, if I measured my wrist as 5.75" and wanted a snug fit, I would pick either size 6 or size 6.5 as my bracelet size. If I wanted a loose fit that would hang down a bit on the top of my hand, I'd pick size 7.
