Description

These iridescent Labradorite stones are named "Blue Flash Labradorite" for a reason - these stones have a stunning glow to them - with shimmers of blue and silver shining out in every direction. These small rectangular stones are faceted to catch the light and they really do flash blue!

The stones are hanging from tarnish resistant Argentium® Sterling Silver ear wires - spaced with tarnish resistant Argentium® Sterling Silver beads. These earrings are delicate and feminine with a flash of sparkle from the stones.

It's very difficult to catch the blue iridescent flashes with my camera, but you can see some spots of the blue glow. I included an image of these stones in a pile so you can see how they catch the light!

  • Ear wire material: tarnish resistant Argentium® Sterling Silver
  • Length of earring: 1-3/8"
  • Stone: faceted small rectangular cut Labradorite
  • Hypoallergenic/Nickel Free: Yes
  • Jewelry will be nicely presented in a gift box wrapped with a ribbon!

About The Stone
About Labradorite

Labradorite is named for where it was found in Labrador, a Canadian province on the Isle of Paul. Inuits once called Labradorite a "fire stone" and would use powdered forms to help cure ailments. According to Inuit legend, a warrior saw the Northern Lights trapped in the rocks and struck them with his spear to free some of the lights. Labradorite is known for its brilliant flashes of color called labradoressence - caused by lamellar twinning inside the crystal.

Metaphysical Properties

Labradorite is considered a tremendously spiritual stone, said to temper the negativity within ourselves.
