About Aquamarine & Metaphysical Properties
The legendary origin of Aquamarine is that it was found in mermaids' treasure chests, making it renowned as a lucky stone for sailors. Its name is derived from the Latin words for "water" and "sea". Consequently, Aquamarine is said to protect from perils fo the sea, including seasickness.
Aquamarine is March's birthstone.
About Argentium® Sterling Silver
Argentium® – The Finest Silver - is a purer version of Sterling Silver that is also highly tarnish resistant. Standard "Sterling Silver" is an alloy composed of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Thus, you see "925 Sterling Silver".
Argentium® is made with 93.5% silver and 6.5% other metals, including germanium and copper, which gives Argentium® additional beneficial properties for jewelry makers. For my jewelry, the biggest benefit of using Argentium® instead of regular Sterling Silver is that it is much more tarnish resistant.
In addition, Argentium® is responsibly manufactured, ethically sourced, and certified to be made with 100% recycled silver.
