Are Your Natural Stone Rings Adjustable?
Yes. I use an adjustable Sterling Silver ring band that allows you to flex the band till you get a perfect fit. These rings are suitable for anyone with size 5-9 fingers. You can also move the ring more comfortably between different fingers with this design.
You may be able to wear the ring with a slightly larger than size 9 hand - however, I do not recommend bending the band down below a size 5. That’s because the gap that forms in the back of the ring isn’t always uncomfortable for people with larger hands. However, bending the band to fit a smaller finger risks damaging the stone setting and losing either the stone or the Silver prongs holding the stone in place.
Are Your Finger Rings Hypoallergenic?
Absolutely! Like all of my natural stone jewelry I use hypoallergenic materials for all of my rings. Right now the only metal I am using in my rings is Sterling Silver, which is safe and comfortable for most people to wear.
The other big advantage of using Sterling Silver is that it’s harder and more durable than many other jewelry metals, and also has fewer care requirements. If you’re someone who prefers jewelry and accessories that don’t take a lot of care or effort, Sterling Silver jewelry is a perfect option for you.
What Kinds Of Stone Do You Use For Your Natural Stone Finger Rings?
Right now I am using Garnet, Apatite, Amethyst, Citrine, and Strawberry Quartz stones in my natural stone finger rings. These crystals offer a range of colors so you can choose the color of ring you prefer, while also offering color consistency so that each stone will look similar to the other stones in my collection.
I may expand in the future and offer either more stones and crystals or additional styles of natural stone rings. For now though, those are the only stones I have planned for my finger ring collection.
Will You Be Designing More Rings In The Future?
Potentially. Right now I have no plans to create more ring designs for Earth Song Jewelry. However, depending on how this design goes over and whether there are more people looking for rings, that might change in the future.
If you are interested in more natural stone finger rings, feel free to contact me and let me know what you’re looking for. In the meantime, I am always happy to make custom earrings, necklaces, and bracelets to meet all your natural stone jewelry needs!
Do Your Natural Stone Rings Need Any Special Care?
No, like all of my handmade jewelry I work hard to make sure my stone and crystal rings do not need any special care or handling.
That said, I do recommend against using ultrasonic cleaners or other cleaning methods on any natural stone jewelry. Natural stones are naturally prone to small cracks and fissures, which can cause the stones to break when they are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning.
If you want to clean your natural stone rings, regular soap and water should do the trick. If you really want to protect the ring you can also use a small amount of silver polish designed for Sterling Silver jewelry to help protect and shine the metal.
Why Are All Of Your Finger Rings A Different Shape?
Since I use natural stones for the centerpieces in all of my finger rings, each ring is entirely unique! No two stones are precisely the same. Especially since I use natural stones that have their original fracture patterns and shapes, instead of cut and polished stones, the shape of each stone retains its unique pattern.
I do try to make sure the stones I use in my natural stone finger rings are roughly the same size, but the shape and details of the stones are up to Mother Nature’s artistry.
