Selenite’s natural cat-eye effect is similar to Tiger Eye, but pure white and silvery in color. It’s only one of the things that make these stones incredible.
One of the beautiful things about working with natural stones in jewelry is that it makes it easy to see how much variety and wonder there is in the natural world. Selenite is a great example. Natural stones come in all colors and shapes and sizes.
A stone that looks almost silver, has cat-eye spars in a lot of samples, and is semi-transparent, is already remarkable enough.
But Selenite is also an incredible example of a stone where multiple different cultures give the stone a similar meaning. It’s thought to promote internal and external harmony, clarity of thought, and positive energy. Selenite is also thought to support your Crown Chakra, and to help dispel negative energy.
