Kyanite gemstones typically come from places in Asia, Brazil, and certain parts of Europe and states of America. It has a shimmering look and comes primarily in shades of blue but also green, black, and orange. All of my Kyanite stones are blue.
Said to enhance logical thinking, Kyanite is also believed to be an excellent stone for meditation and attunement.
